InterBank was established in November 2003 to offer mandated third-party consulting services for banks involved in large financial bond transactions. This initiative arose in response to the challenges faced by the banking sector in the late 1990s and early 2000s. With the pinnacle being the attacks on 9/11.
In 2010, in light of changes in UK regulations regarding the use of the term “Bank,” we rebranded as International Compliance Partners (ICP) while continuing to operate under our trade name, InterBank.
Over the past 18 years, we have experienced significant growth and have become an industry leader in compliance services, particularly in KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) reviews for the world’s top 150 banks. In 2021, following the COVID-19 pandemic, we made the strategic decision to sell a substantial portion of our compliance division to Delta Capita. However, our original business, which has been the cornerstone of our operations since 2003, remains under the InterBank name, operating as an independent entity while maintaining a collaborative relationship with Delta Capita.
